Selle SMP Test Saddle

A critical component of any cyclist's comfort and performance on the bike is the saddle. The better a saddle fits an individual, the more comfortable that person will be while riding. This directly translates into riding faster, stronger, and longer, as well as not encountering lingering issues off the bike. As professional bike fitters, we have seen the effects of a poorly fitting saddle on many cyclists:

• General sit-bone pain
• Pubic area numbness and discomfort
• Saddle sores
• Sciatica-foot pain
• Hip-alignment issues
• Loss of power

We've partnered with Selle SMP to offer a mobile SMP4TEST experience.

1 Select the padding level

SMP4BIKE Professional line models are divided in the table on the left based on the padding level, starting from Carbon models and models without padding, to models with high padding.

2 What's your pant size?

The models most suited to your physical build are marked with the symbol in the column that matches your pant size. Based on the previously selected padding level, find one or more models to choose from for the road test*.

All models are UNISEX. 

3. Choose your preferred saddle

We'll bring the Selle SMP4Test kit and fit the model saddle to your bike.  Ensuring you are set-up in a comfortable ride position. You can now test a saddle on your bike without any purchase obligations.

4. Go Ride!

A short adjustment period may be required for the new saddle: to guarantee the reliability of the test, you should ride the saddle at least four-five times to ensure its 100% right. 

5. Saddle Fit

Once you've found your perfect saddle we'll visit you a second time and fit your new Selle SMP saddle. 

Your SMP4TEST Deposit will be discounted off the new Saddle.
